As many Muggles know, the Tuesday chat has begin! At 7pm the link will always be posted right here on the AMA site, every Tuesday. All AMA Muggles are welcome!!

For those who are not familiar with this, the online chat occurs every Tuesday from 7pm. Originally we used the Facebook group chat tool however Facebook took it away from us (sad faces) and so now the link will be posted here every Tuesday at 7pm. It will be a different link each time and we ask that the chat rooms do not get used at any other time.

The rest of the time our facebook page is used by members to share topics and discuss Potter all day every day!

This week’s fan content winner will be announced very shortly (we’re still trying to upload it all) but there is still more chances to win prizes!!

Next weeks prize, a Sirius Black figurine, is going to a lucky Muggle who sends in their fan content, whatever it may be. Check out our Fan Content page for ideas, then send in your stuff to australianmugglesalliance@gmail.com with the subject line “fan content.”

The AMA staff have decided on a winner for the Fan Content prize for the week ending August 21st. Congratulations to Matt McLeod from Sydney Muggles United who will recieve a copy of a Draco and the Malfoys CD for his amazing (and quite humourous) Wizard Rock song ”My Love Is Made Of Euphemisms.”

The song was written by Matt and his band called Mimbulus Mimbletonia for a compilation called “Wrockin’ Hard Ditties” which will be released soon to raise money for breast cancer research.

Hey everyone! Cassie from Sydney Muggles United here I’ve got an exciting new project that you guys might be interested in contributing to:

I’m making a Harry Potter time capsule (commemorating the release of HP7 and the series as a whole), which will be opened in 5 years. I planned on sealing it up on Harry’s birthday, but at the time there wasn’t enough stuff in there. I really need people to contribute – it can be anything, like a letter about what Harry Potter means to you, newspaper articles, photos from HP events, etc. Anything that reminds you of the amazing time we’ve had growing up the series!  You can either email or post things to me. The new deadline is August 30th, because I want to seal it up on September 1st (I’m determined for it to be done on a significant date in the Potter world). So PLEASE submit your items ASAP!!!! Sorrry for the late notice, but hopefully we can get it ready in time!
